Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1: JUSTIN BIEBER (The Closing Concert)

So this was my 2nd time watching Bieber concert (O'God I'm such a hippie, LOL). Back in 2011 he had one show in Sentul (My World Tour), and I remember at 17 years old he was a lot more like a kid. But now, gosh, who knew 2 years later he'd changed so much and to me it was like watching two totally different guy. His voice, his performance, his super - extremely skilled band, his rock solid abs, every little element just adds up to the whole experience in spite of the fact that he already got an amazing stage presence!

Oh and you know how there's ALWAYS that one lucky girl who brought up to the stage to become Justin's surprise cameo every time he sings "One Less Lonely Girl"? Yeah, here's what 2013 Singapore's OLLG looked like:

But again, look at all those muscles! I never knew some 19 y.o. boy could have this kind of figure, lol. Enjoy, lads! (Although my eyes got pretty hurt watching his disturbingly low pants - it's like every person in the concert venue should know that he's wearing Calvin Klein. DOH, teenagers.)

Overall I had a really really good time at this year's Singapore GP F1. After 3 nights I finally got myself into the Padang Stage fanzone area, LOL. (you're probably wondering how close am I to Bieber, right? Well I DID get pretty close, hence these super good looking still images of him...) - Compared to Big Bang, The Killers, and Rihanna, these shots are way better, right?

Looking forward to find out who's going to be 2014 F1 performers! Closing concert like this is awesome. Thanks S'pore! 

Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1: OWL CITY (Opening for JUSTIN BIEBER's Closing Concert)

It's the first time ever that the annual Singapore GP F1 celebrates Closing Concert. And it's JUSTIN BIEBER! But before that, Owl City is the opening band for him. I only recognize few songs (3 out of 20-ish songs, to be exact :p) but I did have A GOOD TIME, indeed! Thanks for playing Fireflies, Hello Seattle, and Good Time :)

Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1: RIHANNA (Day 3)

*It's all black and white and very blurry, I know. On the final night of F1 Race I took my time to actually watch the race through our seats in the Bay Grandstands, so by the time I arrived at Padang stage, there were already so many crowd waiting for Rihanna's performance (some source said that night 65.000 people were there!). And so we decided to watch her from afar - and YES, you guessed it right - it was all blurry & grainy since everything was taken from one of the 3 big screens surrounding the stage!*

I swear the REAL situation got heated up ever since the intro of "We Found Love" was played. Everything turned out drastically, everyone jumping like crazy and suddenly the energy and the mood was frantic! She knows how to heat up the audience. But vocally speaking, I was kinda disappointed at "What Now" because she chose to skip singing out the Chorus and leave them up to the audience who weren't familiar enough since it's a new song - I'VE WAITED FOR THAT SONG! Damn, Ri!

Well in the end, with me being 3 nights-in-a-row at that Padang stage, Rihanna's performance is surely a crowd-pleaser.  The Barbados was swaggin' Singapore and I was there to witness! Happy :)

Also, congrats to Sebastan Vettel for winning Singapore Grand Prix F1 for the 3rd time in a row! You are definitely UNSTOPPABLE! Looking forward for next year's surprises!

Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1: THE KILLERS (Day 2)

Yes. Finally! Got the see The Killers live on stage, on a tight 18-tracks concert last Saturday. Everyone killed it that night, especially Brandon Flowers (vocalist) & Ronnie Vannuci Jr. (drummer). Too bad Mark Stoermer (bassist) wasn't able to join due to injury so Jake Blanton filled in his shoes for the rest of "Battle Born" tour this year.

I was psyched that they played the majority of my favorite songs! They cranked up the heat right since the beginning with their all-time hit "Mr. Brightside", followed with "Spaceman". The audience started chanting altogether when Brandon played slow acoustic for "Human" intro. Everything got louder by the time "All These Things That I've Done" was played, everyone shouted "I'VE GOT SOUL BUT I'M NOT A SOLDIER"... Wow. And then closed perfectly with "When You Were Young", I couldn't be happier!!

Too bad I still can't believe that they missed out "Miss Atomic Bomb" and "Battle Born" itself :( But I sang my heart out that night, very, very satisfied. Brandon closed that night with a line:

Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1: BIG BANG (Day 1)

So it's basically my 3rd time watching BIG BANG on stage, all in Singapore (2010, 2011 & 2013). I can say that I'm always pleased seeing their live performances, and even though I can't sing most of the lyrics, the atmosphere of attending K-pop concert is always different (in a fun way :). Fans would start queuing from THE NIGHT BEFORE, which is quite sick, I must say. But hey, it's what they called "youth" these days, and ever heard of #YOLO? Yes, because You Only Live Once.

CONCERT-A-THON! 4 NIGHTS, 5 STARS: Singapore Grand Prix 2013 Formula 1

HERE WE GO AGAIN! This is my 2nd time attending Singapore GP F1, long after Linkin Park & Shakira made their way back at Singapore GP 2011. This year's line-up was AH-MA-ZIIING!  First day we got Big Bang (hey, reunion! same as 2011), second day The Killers rocked the stage, and on the final #F1NightRace we got Rihanna. Not forgetting the unusual, the first ever Closing Concert featuring Owl City and yep, you guessed it right..... JUSTIN BIEBER.

It was probably one of the most epic week, with 5 major pop-stars in 4 nights-in-a-row. THANK YOU! I'm a happy girl in her 20s. LOL.
