#StreetFoodAddict: Bakmi Jogja Apjay Pak Ivan, PangPol

You know how much I love street-food. It’s pretty self-explanatory I guess, they’re quick, cheap, and the last time I wrote an honest review about them I got sent to the World Street Food Congress back in June, LOL (a bonus!). That’s why if you ask me, I’m always more of a street-food foodie thriving to look for hidden gems inside and out; than being an up-scale restaurateur / café hunter hopping from one new, hip places to another.

Where to Find the Best Gudeg in Bandung. Like, the BEST.

Disclaimer: My ‘best’ might be different from your ‘best’. But if you’re curious with mine, read on.

Having lived in Bandung for 4 years during college, I never really looked up for Gudeg. True story. Because it’s not really the staple food for Sundanese, in here we would prefer Chicken Noodles (Yamin) or Siomay or Batagor instead. But when that substantial craving kicked in, usually I’d go to popular Gudeg places in Jalan Riau (R.E. Martadinata).

My Gigantic List of What to Eat in Jogjakarta

I spent my childhood in Jogjakarta, so for over 11 years (1994-2005), I grew up with foods relatively close to my neighbourhood. And when people asked me "What to eat in Jogja? where do I go for culinary trip in Jogja? Where's the yummiest gudeg in town?" - The answers will vary, subject to what everyone had their first impression on.
