7x7 Day 6: Photo Wall of Astoria Eats - Labor Day Festival
Today, September 1st is the long-awaited Labor Day holiday. I celebrate it by going to "Astoria Eats", a local festival which spans over three and a half blocks in the 30th Avenue, Astoria, as the main street. This year, Astoria Eats also acted as the extension of "Astoria Flea & Food", a weekly bazaar usually held near 34-35th Ave that also features dozens of street food vendors & flea market.
IT'S A CELEBRATION OF FOOD!
I took lots and lots of (food) photos so I thought, because I only have 24 hours, for my Day 6 project I will make a web-based Photo-Wall of the entire festival. It's like simple gallery with few fancy CSS3 transition effects. Not much time left to carefully pick which photos to be displayed so I just put them all in. The final screenshot looks something like this:
