I've always enjoyed creating projects based on my interest, especially when it comes to food. I remember there was this one time I had a deadline to present a new 2-week project for Major Studio, and I had sudden cravings of NYC pizza. You know, just that plain classic cheese slice that just got out of the brick oven, its size so big you have to eat it like the locals: by folding it half-way so it's easier to eat and also to prevent all the yummy oily drips from getting out of place. Guys, the pizzas in NYC are serious business. If you live in NYC without ever exploring its pizza scheme, someday it will probably be your biggest regret when you're leaving this city.

And so I made a "NYC Foodie Guide", a an interactive map-based web application that makes your life easier by pinpointing recommended food tours based on boroughs and subway lines. All of the places are carefully curated by me - risking my credibility as a foodie (lol) - as a result of all those lonely winter break moments spent by reading food articles from Thrillist, Gothamist, NY Times Dining, NY Eater, SeriousEats, and so on. I'm not joking. It has been a quite serious hobby, curating lists of all the food places I want to try, slowly beginning to compile them all into a bucket list, and because New York has so many of them I think I should just live here for the rest of my lives.

This is probably my favorite. How many times have you wondered what are the good pizzas on your daily commute line? I take the L train every single day, and yet I just realized that L TRAIN CAN TAKE ME TO THE BEST PIZZA IN NEW YORK (Yes Roberta's I'm looking at you). It's interesting to see how New York is probably the only place in the world where it's possible to conduct self-guided Pizza tour using the convenience of public transport, meaning that with only one Metro card swipe it could take you to lots of pizza dining options.
