Finally! Liquid Nitrogen Artisanal Ice Cream in Jakarta

I first got introduced to the world of liquid nitrogen ice cream when I went to Sydney last year. My dear friend Irene started this mouthwatering post on a parlor called “N2 Extreme Gelato”, and so I urged her to take me there once I got there. Back then, the whole thing literally BLEW my mind. Seeing how ice creams are made in less than five minutes, along with the fizzy-smokey entertainment as if it just came out of a chemical lab, with everyone dressed in white coat – every element that made this concept so unique is just a kind of breakthrough in food industry, and a new food attraction that explains the long queue since everyone is just curious to try them out.

Mamma Rosy, The Place to Taste Homemade Cooking of A Genuine Italian Family

We found another Italian restaurant in town! This time, it's rather interesting because it's run by Italian family along with some Indonesian partners, and based on its website, I believe the recipes that they use are hereditary since three generations. Mamma Rosy is owned by Daniel Vigone, and in case you're wondering, yes, he named the restaurant after his mom's name, Rosy, who now also acts as the house's main chef.

"Bagel Bagel" - A Taste of NY in Jakarta

So last couple of weeks i was craving for cheese bagels, i mean.. really really craving, like.. so bad. And what are the odds: my foodie friend just tweeted about this new Bagel shop in Kemang! Luckily two days after was a public holiday so i get to try it sooner than i thought (see i never really liked hanging out in Kemang, for traffic's sake :p) And this newly opened Bagel shop called "Bagel Bagel" was located a bit far from the deadly traffic spots, nice!
