Located at Rukan Permata Senayan, it occupies quite a small space to accommodate only 30-40ish guests. It has this typical Japanese ambiance hinted with wooden décor and an indoor open-kitchen concept, so you can see the whole grilling process.

My dear friend Irene started this mouthwatering post on a parlor called “N2 Extreme Gelato”, and so I urged her to take me there once I got there. Back then, the whole thing literally BLEW my mind. Seeing how ice creams are made in less than five minutes, along with the fizzy-smokey entertainment as if it just came out of a chemical lab, with everyone dressed in white coat – every element that made this concept so unique is just a kind of breakthrough in food industry, and a new food attraction that explains the long queue since everyone is just curious to try them out.

I was excited ever since I saw their ads in Pacific Place back in late 2012 (yes, since it's located in front of my office building so I happen to notice it almost every day). Bibigo is Korean food (K-Food) chain owned by CJ Foods, probably the biggest K-Food Company that comprises in food and food service industries for over 60 years.

Located quite strategically right in front of Al-Azhar University’s back entrance (just few meters behind the infamous Roti Bakar Eddy’s), where people usually pass through that route to avoid 3-in-1 traffic, there’s this humble street-cart with enormous neon lighting and WiFi. Yes, WiFi. That is new to me. Other street-food vendors need to learn from Aditya Sani, the owner of Bubur Ayam Madura, which also happens to be a Strategist Consultant for one of our biggest telco company. Hence the FREE WiFi is sponsored by them – quite a breakthrough!

Hidden among the bustle of electronics & air soft-gun shops at the Ground Floor, this is exactly where Sumiya is located. Sumiya is said to be an authentic Japanese restaurant and I’ve heard some really good praises on it in social media. But just how ‘authentic’ is authentic?
